Urban Scullery at The Deer's Head

The Deer’s Head is Belfast city’s original brewpub with a fully functional on-site craft brewery, Bell's Brewery, on full display inside this newly refurbished saloon bar.

Founded by Wine & Spirit Merchant John Donnelly in 1885, The Deer’s Head is the first historical pub in Belfast to be brought back to its original name. Steeped in history and tradition, walk around this iconic building to discover nods of history across its walls.

Displayed inside this recently refurbished saloon bar you'll find Bell’s Brewery, where you can observe the entire brewing process, up close and personal, from the comfort of your seat. Unpasteurised, unfiltered beer born and brewed in Belfast. Smell the malt being mashed and the hops being added to the boil on brew days and fully immerse yourself in this popular experience in Belfast. With state-of-the-art brewing equipment, these are the only copper Brewiks tanks to be found in Europe!

Traditional food is served every day from 11 am where you can expect to find all your favourite pub classics, created by their MasterChef finalist Head Chef, Jonny Stevenson of Urban Scullery. Well renowned for their Sunday Roasts… they are a favourite with locals and tourists alike!
